Calamine is a compound composed of ferric oxide and zinc oxide, which together create the pink colour powder. It is an odourless pale pink powder which can be used to colour soap/bath bombs or to make a soothing ingredient for face masks if added to a clay. It can be mixed with mica (such as shimmery 'Egyptian Rose' mica) or oxides to create interesting colour tones to use in soap.

Calamine powder creates a soothing and calming affect on the skin, especially for irritated skin. It is water soluble.
