Candle making dye block - Stearin based - one piece.
One dye block should be sufficient to colour 1 kg of paraffin or soy wax comfortably. The size of one dye block is a disc that is the size of a cupped palm of your hand. Soy wax is difficult to dye to a strong colour tone, so a pastel shade should be expected when adding colourants to this wax.
Suitable for use with all kinds of candlemaking waxes, except beeswax which does respond well to stearin based dyes. Please select your preferred colour.
A bit more about candle making dyes -
Aluminium Lake Colours - soluble in oil, miscible in wax but leave a grainy residue when added to paraffin wax or stearin. These are great in MP soap, although expensive to buy.
Food powder colours/chocolate or icing colourants - grainy residue as described above.
Natural food powders such as beetroot/carrot/turmeric - as above.
