Recipe - Home Made Laundry Liquid

Here's a recipe for home made borax laundry detergent concentrate:

Ingredients:
2 cups Lux soap flakes
1 cup Borax
1 cup Soda Ash/Washing Soda crystals (from supermarket)
1 tblspn Eucalyptus Oil (add when soap mix is cool only, do NOT heat it!!)
1.5 L tap water (this is a concentrated version; add more water once it is ready, to dilute it)

Method:
Cook on stovetop on low heat, to emulsify ingredients. Using a whisk, mix well. Leave to cool, add eucalyptus oil then store in a plastic drum or other container. (A recycled clean orange juice or cordial 2L bottle or similar would work well). May be further diluted with water if preferred.

Caution: Do not ingest Borax. Wear personal protective equipment during handling of Borax.

***UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD BORAX BE USED TO CONTROL FLEA INFESTATIONS***
Just thought I'd add that comment, since so many 'forums' are recommending this ridiculous method to kill fleas in houses. It is unsafe to use where it will come into contact with animals - if animals ingest borax, it will be a fatal outcome.
